Mango lassi is a delicious creamy drink made with sweet ripe mango, fresh curd, sugar, and a dash of rose water. This yummy lassi keeps you cool and refreshing on a hot summer day!
Mango lassi is a fruity twist to the quintessential sweet lassi – a delectable refreshing summer drink made with curd or yoghurt, sugar, water or milk and some flavourings.
Generally, lassi comes in many flavours, salty, sweet, spicy, and fruity. Lassi is a curd or yoghurt-based drink; some flavours are added while preparing it to make it more enticing. It keeps you cool on hot days and is very good for your gut.
Prepare this fruity, thick, creamy, refreshing Mango Lassi in less than 10 minutes with 4 simple ingredients: ripe mangoes, yoghurt, sugar and rose water. You can skip rose water and add flavourings of your choice, like green cardamom powder, saffron or kewra water. You can adjust the sugar according to your taste. You can use honey instead of sugar if you don’t want to add sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Sweet Mangoes ,chopped
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 cup Fresh curd (or yoghurt) , chilled
  • 7-8 Ice cubes
  • 1 tsp Rose water
  • ½ tsp Chopped Pistachios for garnishing

Instructions
 

  • Rinse, peel and chop the mangoes. Transfer the chopped mangoes to the blender. Add sugar and rose water and blend the mangoes to a smooth puree.
  • Add chilled curd (yoghurt), mango puree and ice cubes to the mixer.
  • Blend them together until all the ingredients are combined well and the mixture looks smooth. (Note: if you prefer a slightly thin consistency, add some milk or water while blending. ) adjust the sweetness and flavours of the lassi and Blend again.
  • Pour it into the tall glasses and serve chilled.
  • You can garnish it with a mint sprig, mango cubes and chopped pistachios.
