Boiled Peanut Chaat is a simple, easy and healthy chaat recipe made with boiled peanuts, raw mango, green chutney, finely chopped veggies and some basic Indian spices. This delicious chaat, or you can also call it salad, is an ideal and healthy snack to be served at any time. Everyone, including kids and adults, loves to munch on this chaat. This dish comes together in no time. You only need 15 minutes to make this recipe.
There are so many ways to make a peanut chaat. Some recipes require fried peanuts, while others need roasted peanuts. This recipe is made with boiled peanuts and an oil-free chaat. That makes it a more healthy and delicious nutritious snack. I like to serve it chilled.
Prepare it beforehand, and Just before serving, top it with a generous amount of sev for the crunch. If you want to keep it healthy, you may omit the sev or bhujia. This super nutritious filling chaat still tastes excellent. You can serve this chaat as a snack, appetizer, or salad for your get-together.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Raw Peanuts
  • ½ cup Water
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ¼ cup Onion , finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Tomato , finely chopped
  • ¼ cup Cucumber , chopped
  • 2 tbsp Raw mango ,finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Green chilli , finely chopped
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves
  • ½ tsp Chilli Powder
  • 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder
  • ½ tsp Chaat Masala
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Green Chutney
  • Salt to taste
  • Fine Nylon Sev (Bhujia) For garnishing (optional)

  • Take a pressure cooker and add ½ cup of water, 1 cup of raw peanuts, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Cover the lid and let the whistle come on a high flame.
  • After 1 whistle, turn the flame to low. Cook the peanuts for 5 minutes on a low flame. Turn off the flame and let the pressure release of the pressure cooker.
  • Strain the boiled peanuts and set them aside. Let them cool down at room temperature.
  • Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the raw mango, onion, tomato, green chilli and cucumber. Clean and finely chop the coriander leaves.
  • Add cooled boiled peanuts to a big mixing bowl. Add finely chopped onion, tomato, cucumber, green chilli, raw mango and coriander leaves.
  • Add chilli powder, roasted cumin powder, chaat masala, green chutney, lemon juice and salt to taste. Mix it well.
  • Serve it in a serving bowl and garnish it with fine nylon sev (optional) and coriander leaves.
  • Boiled peanut chaat is ready to serve. Enjoy the delicious boiled peanut chaat!
