Ingredients
- 2 cups Cooked Rice
- 200 gm Mushroom
- 1 small Onion
- ¼ cup Red Bell Pepper
- ¼ cup Yellow Bell Pepper
- ¼ cup Capsicum
- ½ tsp Chilli powder
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Ghee
Instructions
- Clean and rinse the mushrooms. Pat dry with a kitchen towel and cut the mushrooms in quarters. Keep it aside.
- Melt ghee in the pan or kadhai on medium heat. Add finely chopped onion and sauté it for 2 minutes.
- Add the mushrooms, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt. Mix it well and cook for about 5-6 minutes on medium heat. The mushrooms will release water at the beginning of cooking. Stir frequently and cook the mushrooms until all the water gets dry.
- Add finely chopped red bell pepper, yellow bell pepper and capsicum. Mix it well, stir frequently and cook for 2-3 minutes or until peppers are just tender. Do not overcook the bell peppers.
- Add boiled rice and mix it gently with the mushroom and bell peppers.
- Mushroom fried rice with bell peppers is ready to serve.
