Ingredients
- 100 gm Raw Mango , grated
- 3 cups Cooked Rice
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Chana Dal
- 2 to 3 Dry red chilli
- 3 tbsp Peanuts
- 1 tsp Urad Dal
- ½ tsp Cumin Seeds
- ½ tsp Mustard Seeds
- 2 Green Chilli , finely chopped
- 1 tsp Ginger , finely chopped
- ¼ tsp Hing
- 10 or 1 sprig Curry Leaves
- ¼ tsp Turmeric Powder
- Salt To taste

- Wash and peel off the skin of raw mango. Grate the mango, discard the seed and keep it aside.
- Take a pan and pour oil into it. Add peanuts, fry them and keep them aside.
- Add chana dal, urad dal, cumin seeds, mustard seeds and red chillies. Roast them until they change colour to golden brown and smell aromatic.
- Add hing and curry leaves and stir it for a few seconds.
- Add finely chopped green chillies, ginger, and grated raw mango to this. Stir it well.
- Add salt and turmeric powder and mix everything well. Cook the grated mango for 10 -15 minutes or until it becomes soft and cooked completely.
- To this mango mixture, add the cooked rice and give it all a quick mix. Mix it gently, and care not to break the grains of rice.
- Serve the Raw Mango Rice hot with fried papads by the side.
