- ⅓ cup Sugar
- ⅔ cup Water
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- 4 Lemon slices
- 10 Mint leaves
- ⅔ cup Soda water
- 10-12 Ice cubes
Firstly, prepare simple syrup, take a saucepan and combine sugar and water. Bring the liquid to a boil on medium flame; keep stirring until sugar has dissolved completely. Switch off the flame and let it cool down.
Place 3-4 mint leaves, 2 lemon slices and 1 tablespoon of lemon juice in a glass for serving. Muddle them together gently for a few seconds. The mint leaves should only be bruised to release the essential oils and should not be shredded.
Add ice cubes or crushed ice, 1/3 cup of simple syrup and 1/3 cup of soda water. Stir it well. You can increase or decrease the amount of syrup as per your choice.
Serve the chilled virgin mojito with fresh mint leaves and lemon slices.
